When did your skin start being something that you wanted to focus on?
When I graduated and moved to London and felt like I should start looking after my skin. I was working in the health and wellness industry which highlighted how decisions made in your 20s could impact your long term health so felt like I should take it into my hands. It was more of a proactive step than reactive.
What was your biggest skin frustration?
Being lost in the market. I had no idea what products to use, what skin type I had and what I should be looking at for my skin. My skin wasn’t having any massive problems per se, I knew I should be looking after it more but just didn’t really know how. I didn’t want to wait for it to be too late
What was your biggest frustration or challenge with the current beauty market?
Too much out there. It’s tricky to decipher between marketing and truth. Something like skin feels very personal and not something you want to take a risk on, but at the same time, there is so much out there it’s tricky to know where to start with research and I didn’t have enough time to dedicate to research myself
